Abdul Qadim Haqq breaks down the art behind the aquatic electro icons.
Originally shared through Drexciya’s music, the Drexciyan mythology will be expanded upon in The Book of Drexciya Vol 1. This novel will be the first in a series that will tell the Drexciyan storyline in its entirety. From the origin story to several hundred years after the founding of the Drexciyan Empire. This project will be guided to its completion by A. Qadim Haqq. Haqq’s legendary concept imagery associated with the Detroit techno community and beyond for almost 30 years and his contributions to the mythology at the time of conception makes him uniquely positioned to lead this endeavor. He will be supported by his team of artists (including fellow Detroit Techno Art Gallery partner, the legendary Alan Oldham) and members of X-971 Northwest Drexciyan Outpost. Softcover US edition.

Arpanet (Record Makers, Rephlex, US)
Today, Arpanet represents the club side of Heinrich Mueller. While Dopplereffekt has become and more conceptual and experimental over the years, the Arpanet sound is for the clubs, but with all of the edge and quality we are used to hear from Mueller. This is ‘techno’ in the sense that the term was originally intended. Arpanet can be booked in collaboration with Kontra Musik.
